The Fundamentals of Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) Learning Series will cover the ins and outs of Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) early intervention practice and is a great learning opportunity for professionals and parents alike. - Dr. Teresa Caraway
The series covers LSL and the courses can be taken in any order. While courses follow a schedule, learners can start with any course that’s open for registration. Learners must sign up for each course separately once registration for that course opens.
If you’re not already a member, sign up for either the Professional Learning Community or Family Support Community. All Hearing First learning experiences require membership before you can register for a course. It’s free, and a great way to connect with others on the LSL journey, ask questions, and more.
Once you’re a community member, you can register for any available learning experience for free! Check the catalog regularly to see when new courses are available for registration. Since this series is flexible for learners and rotates courses over 18 months, you’ll need to register for each course separately.
Once you register, you’ll have access to pre-learning discussions, video lectures, and materials prior to each 90-minute live session with the facilitator. Learners will receive a Certificate of Completion and professionals can earn continuing education credits from the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language and/or the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
